Budha Mantra , Lord Mercury

Navagraha Dhyanam

aadityaaya cha somaaya mangalaaya budhaaya cha;

guru shukra shanibhyashcha raahave ketave namah 


Lord Mercury {Budha }Mantra:


|| Om Bram Brim Broom Sah Budhaey Namah ||

|| ऊं ब्रां ब्रीं ब्रौं स: बुधाय नम: ||


|| Priyangukalikashyaamam ruupenaa-pratimam budham
Saumyam saumyamgunopetam tam budham pranamaamyaham
Om budhaaya namah ||

Synonyms

priyangu – A type of herb (also known as Indian kino tree)
kalikaashyaamam – Dark like the kalika flowers
roopenaa – In form of
pratimam – Image or idol
budham – Mercury (referring to the planet)
soumyam – Gentle or benign
satva gunopetam – Endowed with qualities of purity
tam – Him
bhdham – Mercury
pranamaamyaham – I bow down

Translation

I bow down to Budha (Mercury), who resembles the beloved priyangu herb, has a dark complexion, possesses an appearance similar to an idol, is gentle, and endowed with qualities of purity.

Benefits of Lord Budh (Mercury) Mantra:

Blesses with sense of calmness and restores peace.

It reduces the ill-effects caused due to the changes in the planetary movements.

It blesses with wisdom, knowledge and enlightenment.

Helps to improve communication skills.

The Budh mantra keeps the mind, and the body relaxed.


Thiruvenkadu Temple  :

This is one of the nine Navagraha temples specifically meant for Budha Baghavan. The presiding deity is Lord. Shiva, who is worshiped here as “ Swetharanyeshwarar” and Goddess Parvati,his consort, is depicted as Brahmavidyanayaki Amman.
